System Recordings

In System Recordings you can add audio files to be used by your system.
Multiple audio files can play per recording and you have 3 options to create a recording.

To access the System Recordings page, do the following:

  1. Login to your PBX Admin Portal.
    • i.e. customer.freevociepbx.com/maint
      (replace customer with your system's actual subdomain)
  2. Go to PBX > PBX Setup > System Recordings.


Record New




 After clicking Record New, a window will pop up asking you to name the recording and which extension it should dial.

Upload File




After clicking Upload File a window will pop up asking you to name the recording and select the file to upload.

If you wish to upload your audio file, make sure that file has the correct file properties as listed below:
  • .wav
  • 8000Hz
  • 16bit PCM
  • Mono sound

Built-in Recordings



Built-in Recordings can be utilized, but the other 2 options are superior.
After clicking Built-in Recording you will be able to select an audio file from the drop down.
After a selection is made and you click Go, the recording will be created.
