Voicemail Blast Groups
To access the Voicemail Blast Groups page, do the following:
- Login to your PBX Admin Portal.
- i.e. customer.freevociepbx.com/maint
(replace customer with your system's actual subdomain) - Go to PBX > PBX Setup > Voicemail Blast Groups.
With Voicemail Blast Groups you can create a group of extensions that will all receive the message you wish to send as a voicemail. A user can dial this number to leave a voicemail message for a group of extensions. All members of the group will receive the message in their voicemail inboxes.
Add Voicemail Blast Group
When you set a Voicemail Blast Number, this will be the number you dial to initiate the voicemail blast.
You can give this voicemail blast group a name in the Group Description field.
The next option would allow you to choose an audio to be played to the caller before they leave the voicemail (such as an audio prompt or the system reading back the blast group number they called).
You may also define a password to be entered before a caller can use the voicemail blast group.
Voicemail Box List is where you would define/choose all of the extensions you wanted to receive the voicemail blast.
Setting a voicemail blast group as the default group will allow you to easily add or remove extensions from the default group via their extensions page.
