Area Code Routing


Area Code Routing allows for calls from designated area codes to be routed to alternative destinations.

To access the Area Code Routing page, do the following:

  1. Login to your PBX Admin Portal.
    • i.e. customer.freevociepbx.com/maint
      (replace customer with your system's actual subdomain)
  2. Go to PBX > PBX Setup > Area Code Routing.


Add Area Code Routing Group


Name the Area Code Routing Group.
You can choose a System Recording from the drop down to play before sending the call to that area codes destination.
You can increase or decrease the number of rows by using the increase or decrease fields buttons.
Per row, set the area code then select what the destination should be for that area code.
Make sure that Area Code Routing is enabled on each DID that you want the routing on.

Save the new Area Code Routing Group. (using S.A.C - Submit, Apply, Continue)
